Borders Between Species and Spaces. Ocean residents.

I am constantly exploring emotional and physical transitions between land and water. Witnessing life's delicate balance and shared vulnerabilities in these overlapping realms, revealing that, despite our differences, we are all connected by a desire to explore, adapt, and find our place between the earth and the sea.

The shifting boundary between the ocean and the air evokes feelings of beauty, joy, awkwardness, and constraint as these two worlds merge. Graceful whales breach the surface, bridging both realms, while human explorers navigate underwater with wetsuits, fins, and snorkels in an attempt to follow them. 

As we don our wetsuits and waddle along rocky coastlines, our face splashed by sea spray and breeze, we experience the surreal sensation of breathing through a snorkel, adjusting our buoyancy as if we were immersed in this space, kicking against the pull of the currents.
