Claudia

Digital photography, underwater series 

Claudia is a visual exploration of how we connect to the places we live in and the stories they hold. Inspired by the Australian landscape and my experience of moving there, the project reflects on what it means to belong to several worlds simultaneously. Shot underwater through freediving, it was created together with photographer Claudia, who styled and choreographed her own movements. The ocean becomes a space between fear and fascination, beauty, strangeness, and power. The work revisits the portrayal of women and nature in film and myth, reclaiming that sense of mystery as a symbol of strength and creativity.
