Feature Documentary Development

From March 2024 to May 2025, I led the creative development of a feature documentary in collaboration with Tunisian artist Emel Mathlouthi. Over fourteen months, I oversaw the project’s story, visual research, and creative direction while filming and establishing an international production framework and early co-production partnerships.

The film explored themes of identity, technology, and the human condition through the lens of Emel’s music and philosophy. Although the project concluded before entering production, the process profoundly shaped my approach to cross-cultural collaboration and reaffirmed my commitment to emotionally resonant, conceptually rigorous storytelling.
